Pat Murphy Electric, Inc., Inc. was founded in 1982 by John Patrick Murphy to provide electrical services to the growing construction industry in the Metro Atlanta area. In 1994, Guy Roberts joined the company as CEO. Guy has over 25 years experience in all phases of the electrical business. His knowledge and experience have allowed Pat Murphy Electric, Inc. to expand into additional markets.

Throughout the history of Pat Murphy Electric, Inc., “Exceptional Service” has been the standard. As a result, there has been a steady growth in the Company’s customer base, expertise of employees and number of services provided.

In 1995, Pat Murphy Electric, Inc. initiated residential and commercial service which has grown into a present fleet of fully stocked service vehicles and experienced electrical technicians providing expert electrical service, including 24 hour emergency service, to an expanding customer base in the Atlanta and Knoxville metro areas.

The company now offers residential and commercial service, industrial installations and maintenance, construction services for general contractors, phone, and CATV and data cabling and design/build services.

Pat Murphy Electric, Inc. is a member of the Independent Electrical Contractors Association which provides a four year apprenticeship program and advanced courses for the electrical technician. Most of our employees have attended, and some are currently attending, this program to keep current with the changing technology in the electrical industry.
